On the morning of July 19, Reps. James Lankford (R-OK), Pat Meehan (R-PA), and Diane Black (R-TN) held a conference call to warn about a looming debacle of fraud and/or ID theft associated with eligibility-checking for Obamacare subsidies.
The Obamacare (PPACA) law simply says that eligibility must be verified before granting Obamacare subsidies to individuals. That’s all. The bill is thousands of pages long, but that’s all it says.
